Why each year the Christmas lights are lit before?, if we are in times of crisis, wouldnt be necessary be savings in energy expenditure? what do you think?

Hi Carlos!!, I like Christmas but I think that they shouldn´t switch on the christmas lights so early to save energy.
This year, I think than the lights had been lit for people buy more.
I believe that christmas lights are necessary for these dates because are the symbol of these, Without them the Christmas don't have sens.
